Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism all seem to have the same kind of creation myth that straddles the line between a theory of how the Universe began and a theory of how the mind began. Enjoy the video!

(At the pre-primordial time), not the nonexistence existed nor did the existence exist then;
Neither ethereal spaces were there, nor was there empyrean which was beyond.

What covered inside the holder? And where? In whose protection?
Was it flowing cosmic force, in impenetrable deep-sounding abyss of mystery?
As death was non-existent, so was immortality at that time;
Neither was there stillness of night, nor was there distinction of day:
That One breathed, breathlessly, by its own inherent impulse.
Thus other than That One, there was surely nothing else beyond.
Darkness (or ignorance, Illusion) there was, concealed in darkness in the beginning;
Indiscriminate heaving waves of all sorts were there all around.
Enclosed in void was, which, then, the unborn power (of all things),
Arose was The Might (Mind), uniting with That One, fit to endure simmering deep thought.
Desire whirled in That One (receptacle) recurrently (replicating) in the beginning,
Which was the primal seed, born of mind.
That (the Desire) was the kinship of existence in nonexistence, as it was found out,

By the sages who searched deep in their hearts with wisdom
Across diffused were the rays of their intellect (of vision), actively searching:
What indeed was beneath? What indeed was upwards?
Impregnating forces there were, glorious powers there were:
Spontaneous powers below, intentional efforts (willpower) above.
(But now) Who truly knows? Who can here speak about It?
How and whence It arose? How and whence This Creation (happened)?
Even the Gods came later than The Creation, isn’t it?
Who else then knows whence It first came into being?
This Creation – whence It first came into being,
Whether (It) formed (Itself), or whether (It did) not –
As The Dweller witnessed (or perceived) It from extreme Heavens,
To surmise, He indeed knows – or perchance even He knows not!
